  • There are no startup fees associated with joining Venture Rental Management!

  • We have maintenance/upkeep workers that we trust and prefer. Our partners include cleaners, plumbers, snow removal services, garbage removal, pest removal, and handymen.

  • There are no binding contracts with Venture Rental Management. We only ask that you give us at least 60 days notice before cancelling our service so that we can properly notify our service teams. Additionally you must also honor all future bookings that are already have already been booked for your home.

  • First we make a house visit to make sure your home is a good fit for our program.

    Once that is complete we will go over our fees and if you decide to move forward an agreement will be signed.

    The next step is getting your home photo ready. We can either have our cleaning team come in and do a pre clean or you can do this part yourself with our advisement. While we are doing the photography, our operations coordinator will start learning all of the specific “ins and outs” of your vacation home, and creating a profile of your property for our guest guidebook. Once the photos are complete, we will begin the process of building your home’s listing on all the major platforms (Airbnb, Vrbo, Homeaway & Venture Rentals), creating the copy, and optimizing the calendar. This process typically takes about 7-14 days from when the photos are taken.

    Once the listing is complete and you preview you it, we will open up the calendars for guests to book after your approval. You will then be provided with an owners portal where you can view all of the upcoming reservations and income produced.

    Lastly we will then handle all aspects of renting out your home so you can sit back and relax!

  • In addition to listing your home on all of the major platforms including Airbnb and Vrbo, we will use SEO, E-Mail ad campaigns, social media, and our own booking platform to give you the biggest online footprint possible.

  • Of course! While we specialize in the Southern Vermont Market we are always open to new areas of interest.

  • Since we are a full service rental management company, we will handle everything leaving you with a completely hands-off experience. Whether it’s contacting a plumber, coordinating with house keepers, or fielding guest inquiries and questions, we handle it all as one comprehensive solution.

  • We are one of the only companies that provide pre and post-inspection for every reservation.

    Prior to guest arrival, we will go to your vacation home and make sure the heat, hot water, light bulbs, electronic keypad locks, TVs, and appliances are all in working order. We do all of this to ensure the guests have an amazing and easy experience with no complications.

    After guest departure, we will visit your home again and make sure there were no accidental damages, turn the heat down or ACs off to save you on your utility bill, close and lock windows, turn the water off if needed, and make sure all entry points of your home are secure.

    Additionally, we are in constant communication with our cleaners, so if they notice anything they will let us know immediately.

    If you are renting out your home regularly with us, we will be at your home three times a week! Pre-inspection, post-inspection, and cleaning!

  • There are many benefits to renting your home out on the short term rental market compared to the long term.

    For one, the decrease in overall occupancy results in drastically less wear and tear on your home. An occupancy rate of anywhere from 35%-55% on a short term rental (STR) should yield much more income than a long term rental that, if contract bound, is occupied 100% of the time. This means less wear on your appliances, furniture, plumbing, heating and overall home life expectancy while getting paid more!

    Another advantage of using your secondary home as a STR is the ability for you to use your vacation home for yourself. We can block off any days on the calendar so that you can use your home for your own personal use. If it were a long term rental, you could never vacation at your home unless there were no tenants which means no income.

    One of the most convenient aspects of short term renting is that the money is collected up front. There is no hassle of late-paying tenants who have every excuse for not having your money on time.
